Electric Machine Design
Various electric machines are designed and optimized as part of various TÜBİTAK and course and other research related projects in recent years including a Line Start Synchronous Reluctance Motor (TÜBİTAK 3501), Switched Reluctance Machine (SRM) (TÜBİTAK 1001), and Surface Mount and Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines (PMSM, IPMSM). Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and multi-objective optimization methods are used. These analyses are performed in ANSYS Maxwell and Matlab/Simulink.
